Equafusion Independent Contractor Agreement & Work Policy
(Applicable to All Freelancers, Remote Workers, and Independent Contractors Engaged with Equafusion)
1. Introduction & Scope
This Freelancer, Remote, and Work-from-Home Policy governs the professional relationship between Equafusion and all individuals or entities providing services as freelancers, contractors, or remote associates. By accepting a project, assignment, or task from Equafusion, the individual agrees to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein. This policy applies to all remote or freelance professionals, whether part-time, full-time, or project-based, across any location worldwide. Its purpose is to maintain professional discipline, ensure timely work delivery, uphold quality standards, and protect the confidentiality of both Equafusion and its clients. Freelancers are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, maintain transparent communication, and perform their duties with commitment and accountability. This document forms part of the contractual agreement between Equafusion and the freelancer.
2. Work Ethics & Responsibility
Freelancers and remote workers are expected to adhere to the highest professional standards. All tasks assigned must be completed within the provided deadlines, and communication with managers or project leads should remain consistent throughout the project’s duration.
Each freelancer is solely responsible for the completion of their assigned work. Excuses, delays, or unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated. If a freelancer anticipates a delay, they must notify their project manager in advance with a valid reason. Regular updates, progress reports, and timely submission of drafts or deliverables are mandatory. Failure to comply with expected timelines or to maintain professional behavior may result in payment deductions, contract termination, or permanent disqualification from future Equafusion collaborations.
3. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure
All freelancers are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding any data, strategy, content, client information, or intellectual property shared by Equafusion. Unauthorized sharing, duplication, or dissemination of any confidential material—whether digital or verbal—is strictly prohibited. Freelancers must sign and comply with the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to receiving any project details. Breach of confidentiality will result in immediate termination, forfeiture of pending payments, and potential legal action under applicable law. All files, assets, and credentials shared by Equafusion remain the sole property of the company and must be deleted or returned immediately upon project completion or termination.
4. Work Delivery & Quality Standards
All deliverables must meet Equafusion’s quality benchmarks, ensuring originality, accuracy, and professional standards. Revisions may be requested in case of non-compliance with specifications or poor quality output. Timely submission is a core expectation. In cases of delay without prior communication, Equafusion reserves the right to impose penalties, reduce payments, or cancel the assignment entirely.
Repeated non-performance, copied work, or lack of effort will result in immediate termination and potential reporting to freelance platforms or professional blacklists. Equafusion promotes creativity, consistency, and accountability in every project.
5. Payment Terms
Payments to freelancers will be released only after full approval of submitted work by the assigned manager or client. Payment structures may vary depending on the project—hourly, milestone-based, or per-task—but in all cases, incomplete or substandard work will not be eligible for compensation. In the event of project cancellation due to freelancer non-performance, misconduct, or breach of policy, pending payments may be withheld. Equafusion processes all payments within 7–15 working days after task verification and approval. All freelancers are responsible for providing accurate bank or UPI details. Equafusion shall not be held responsible for payment delays arising from incorrect or incomplete payment information.
6. Misconduct & Policy Violations
Any form of unprofessional behavior, including harassment, misrepresentation, plagiarism, or unethical practices, will lead to immediate contract termination. Freelancers must not misuse the Equafusion name, resources, or client data for personal or third-party benefit. Promotion or solicitation of competing services to Equafusion’s clients is strictly forbidden. In cases of severe misconduct, Equafusion reserves the right to pursue legal remedies, blacklist the freelancer, and permanently prohibit future collaboration.
7. Tools, Software & Access
Freelancers using Equafusion-provided tools, credentials, or software licenses must ensure their security and confidentiality. Any misuse, unauthorized sharing, or modification of access credentials will result in termination and potential legal consequences.
All project-related accounts, drives, and communication channels remain the property of Equafusion and must not be used for any external purpose.
8. Availability & Communication
Freelancers are expected to maintain prompt communication during active project periods. Messages, calls, or emails from project leads must be acknowledged within a reasonable time frame (typically 2–4 hours). Failure to respond repeatedly may be considered a breach of professionalism and may lead to reassignment or termination of the project. Remote meetings, progress reviews, and virtual coordination sessions are compulsory unless prior written approval is obtained for absence.
9. Termination & Dispute Resolution
Equafusion reserves the right to terminate any freelancer contract immediately in case of policy violation, breach of confidentiality, non-performance, or unethical conduct. Any disputes arising out of this engagement shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. In case of escalation, all legal proceedings shall fall under the jurisdiction of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and shall be governed by applicable Indian laws.
10. Acknowledgment & Consent
By accepting a project, assignment, or task from Equafusion, the freelancer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms of this policy. Submitting work or engaging in communication with Equafusion implies full acceptance of all clauses mentioned herein. Equafusion reserves the right to update or modify this policy as necessary, with prior notice to all active freelancers.
